Fall 2016 was my last semester taking classes at MSU. My final course was CEP 956, Mind, Media, & Society with Dr. Christine Greenhow. The course focused on various types of social media and their histories, uses, and potential impacts in educational environments. The final requirement for the course was to complete an article for submission for publication. I rewrote my practicum findings into a format applicable for an academic journal. I am currently seeking an outlet for this piece.
I successfully passed my comprehensive exam in January 2017. Throughout 2018, I researched and drafted my dissertation proposal, which I successfully defended in June 2018. I collected data on my dissertation throughout the fall of 2018 and into January 2019. I am currently finishing the data analysis and discussion of the dissertation, which will be defended in June 2019.
